This is a famous war poem that most people recite on remembrance day, it was written during the first world war by lieutenant Colonel John McCrae. He was inspired to write it on May 3, 1915, after presiding over the funeral of a friend and fellow soldier Alexis Helmer.
Mahtab, this is a great start to this post. I would like to see you add some information specific to Canada's sacrifices in these wars. Your second picture does not display properly so I can't read it. You might need to find another picture.
