Ottawa Shooting

Kevin Vickers
Nathan Cirillo guarding the
 Canadian national war memorial
On Wednesday October 22 2014 There was a gunman who entered Canada's National War Memorial in Ottawa just before 10 am E.T. The gunman shot a reservist guard (Cpl Nathan Cirillo) In the chest while he was guarding the Canadian National War Memorial. After he shot cpl.Nathan Cirillo the attacker hijacked a car, where he drove to the Parliament buildings and entered Centre Block and started shooting. Until a sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers shot him down.

Condolences to family of the soldier killed, & prayers for the Parliamentary guard wounded. Canada will not be terrorized or intimidated.

Jason Kenny Canada's Minister of Employment and Social Development was the first person to announce Nathan Cirillo's death. The police have identified the attacker as ''Micheal Zehaf-Bibeau''.
Micheal Zehaf-Bibeau

My opinion on  Kevin Vickers when he shot Micheal Zehaf-Bibeau is that if he didn't shoot him, he would have killed more people. Although i also think that there should have been another way of dealing with it instead of killing because no one deserves to be killed in that manner.

This is an email from Micheal Zehaf-Bibeau's parents apologizing for what has been done.

''Hi, I am writing this note on behalf of my husband and myself. No words can express the sadness we are feeling at this time. We are so sad that a man lost his life. He has lost everything and he leaves behind a family that must feel nothing but pain and sorrow. We send our deepest condolences to them although words seem pretty useless. We are both crying for them. We also wish to apologize for all the pain, fright and chaos he created. We have no explanation to offer. I am mad at our son, I don't understand and part of me wants to hate him at this time. You write that our son was vulnerable, we don't know, we [he] was lost and did not fit in. I his mother spoke with him last week over lunch, I had not seen him for over five years before that. So I have very little insight to offer. We don't wish to be part of any media circus, we don't think it will add anything to the conversation. Please respect our privacy although many may not feel we deserve any.… Once again we are so sorry."— Susan Bibeau and Bulgasem Zehaf

Below i have put in some video from parliament hill while the shooting was taking place
